In the Vehicle and Engine Laboratory of the Technical University of Liberec, a research station for the hydrogen combustion engine was built. As part of the hydrogen engine project, the mixture preparation in the engine cylinder was optimised by direct injection. The advantages are an increase in efficiency and the elimination of non-standard phenomena of the combustion engine. A hydrogen engine directly injecting hydrogen into the cylinder is being prepared for parameter verification in a passenger car.
