Increasing the efficiency of machinery and equipment by reducing frictional losses of the machine and its components
TH01021093
The project solves the problem of reducing frictional losses in mechanical machine systems where the mutual movement of components cannot be provided with fully hydrodynamic lubrication, and the surface quality of the friction surfaces is significantly affected by frictional losses. Special friction surface treatments can be used to reduce friction losses. The treatment consists of forming a coating on the friction surface that reduces the value of the friction coefficient and contributes to increased service life. The aim of the project is to
Comprehensive research of mechanical and material properties of coatings on the friction surface, created by several technologies on different basic materials of the friction surface, application of selected solutions on the sealing (friction) surface of piston rings, piston, injection pump pistons and verification measurements of mechanical losses.
