Václav Rychtář graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Liberec in 2003, majoring in reciprocating internal combustion engines. From 2003 to 2009, he worked as a development engineer at JAWA Divišov a.s., specialising in transmission and crank mechanisms.
Since 2010, he has worked at Škoda Auto a.s. as a specialist in functional and prototype tests and as an expert coordinator in the aggregate test room.
