Ing.Josef Břoušek,Ph.D.

He graduated from the Technical University of Liberec, obtaining a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering. From 2014 to 2016, he worked as a CAD designer in automotive development. Since 2017, he has worked as a research scientist at the Institute of Nanomaterials, Advanced Technologies and Innovations at TUL (CXI). Since 2023, he has engaged in teaching and scientific activities at the Department of Vehicles and Engines.

His specialization lies in electric vehicles, electric and hydrogen propulsion systems. He focuses on research, development, and testing of these technologies to contribute to advancing sustainable transportation. He also specializes in automated vehicles and mechanical design, including testing equipment design. Throughout his career, he has been a member of several research teams. Within the project "Modular platform for autonomous chassis of specialized electric vehicles for freight and equipment transportation", he led the research activity focusing on designing the mechanical transmission of utility autonomous electric vehicles.
