The Vehicle and Engine Laboratory is used to research, develop and test vehicle drives, powertrains and their subassemblies. It specialises mainly in battery electric drives, hydrogen fuel cell drives and internal combustion engines with various fuels: petrol, diesel, hydrogen, CNG, LPG and alternative fuels.

With many years of experience in development and testing, we provide consultancy and professional and technical support in scientific research projects. As part of our contract research, we also collaborate on innovative solutions for various areas of the automotive industry, individual mobility devices and mobility in general.

LABORATORY INSTRUMENTATION

Our laboratory offers superior instrumentation that enables extensive testing and analysis. Research focuses mainly on activities that are important for optimising the performance and efficiency of drives.

The lab is also a place that provides students and academics with access to state-of-the-art equipment and technology. It is, therefore, an integral part of the teaching process and a place where many examinations and experiments are carried out as part of the final thesis solutions in all three levels of study.
